Larry Nance Jr Told A Young Fan To Fuck Right Off
I’ll tell you the thing about being an athlete or celebrity in this year of our lord 2018- you are always on camera. Always, no matter what, you are on camera. So when a little kid comes running up to you, asking for an autograph, it doesn’t matter if Grandma died that morning (RIP), you have to sign the autograph. For all we know, Larry Nance Jr was having the worst day ever and said “sorry kid, I can’t right now” and didn’t mean any ill-will whatsoever. But all we see is him telling this kid to fuck right off, which is a bad look. So that’s my optimistic take.
On the other hand, Larry Nance Jr very well could just be an asshole. He had his iPod in, he has to go deal with LeBron yelling at him at another practice, and he has no time for smelly kids who want him to scribble his name on a napkin. Definitely not a great look to stare down the kid and keep it moving.
You at least gotta give the kid a high-five. Gotta. Even if you just caught Delonte West with your mom, as is tradition, you gotta stop for the kid because now for the rest of time Larry Nance Jr is the guy who hates kids and hates his fans.
